Arguably Pittsburgh's oldest barbershop, Pleasant Hills Barbershop was established in 1938 and is still family owned 86 years later. We are proud to carry on the tradition and welcome all generations of families in our community.
Pleasant Hills Barbershop is a third generation barbershop, founded in 1938 by Guido Galardini. In 1951 Fernando, affectionately known as "Ferdy", Guido's son, became the proprietor. Ferdy carried on the family tradition for over 60 years until his passing in 2008. The Galardini Family still owns and has a passion for Pleasant Hills Barbershop and the Pittsburgh community.
Pleasant Hills Barbershop continues the Galardini Family tradition by providing exceptional grooming and haircutting services in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. In 2020 the shop was completely remodeled by Rick Galardini, the first of Ferdy's four children. His vision of making Pleasant Hills Barbershop a destination barbershop serving Pittsburgh and the South Hills would have made Guido and Ferdy overjoyed!
